A beautiful wedding

In early October, Sarah married Stephen at the Menefee Ranch. It was a beautiful wedding with delicious food. Here are some of the pictures I took of the happy couple.

XTi

We bought a new camera. My dad bought my old Canon Digi Rebel, and we purchased the Canon Rebel XTi. We LOVE it! It shoots in black and white.

It's official!

I am now Stephanie Fawcett. All official paper work has been changed. All new checks, credit cards, driver's license, etc. Now I have to get used to writing it.

Bittersweet

Escrow closed today, and I am no longer the owner of the little house on Oxford. I was sad leaving my house for the last time, but I am very excited about finding a new place for us. We've been looking online, and Jenny gave me a name of a real estate agent she knows well. I'll be calling him first thing tomorrow. I'll keep everyone updated on the house search as soon as it starts. Wish us luck!

Half Moon Bay

On Saturday, we spent the day in Half Moon Bay. We walked along the beach and Randy found lots of shells. We ate lunch at the Brewing Company, then walked down Main Street and did a little shopping. The weather was perfect.

Happy Birthday John!

On Saturday, a group of us celebrated John's birthday in Carmel. We ate at Little Napoli http://www.littlenapoli.com. We had so much fun at dinner. Happy Birthday John!

"This is the best meal you've made since we've been married."

Randy's exact words when I made corn bread- and bacon-stuffed pork chops the other night. I have to admit, I thought they were pretty yummy too.

Speaking of anniversaries...

Today Randy and I celebrate our 1-month anniversary. In the past 30 days, we have been very busy. We went on a beautiful honeymoon (pictures soon), I moved into Randy's apartment in Palo Alto, we've put my house on the market, and Randy received a raise.

Rehearsal Dinner

About 40 or so people met us at Galletto Ristorante after the rehearsal. Galletto's is a fantastic restaurant in Modesto. The meal was delicious. John, Jenny and Martha ordered cookies for everyone with a photo of us from Randy's high school graduation. They were adorable. It was so fun talking to everyone. Here are some photos.

We are back from our honeymoon. It was wonderful-great food, perfect weather, relaxing beach. We'll give more details on that later. First we'll share photos of the rehearsal. Later in the week we'll add photos of the rehearsal dinner, wedding preparations, ceremony, reception, then honeymoon. My Shower Part 1

On Saturday, Martha, Lova, Jenny and Marne threw me a beautiful bridal shower. I had friends, family and soon-to-be-family in attendance. I was so overwhelmed with everyone's kindness, love and support, that I started to cry during my "thank you" speech, and didn't get to finish. Randy and I want to thank each and every one of you for your continued support and happiness for us. Now onto photos!

I want to thank Lova for holding the shower in her beautiful backyard. The yard looked perfect and it was the perfect setting for the shower. Thank you Lova!
A big thank you to Martha. She put so much time and energy into the shower. Randy and I had a blast with her for the few days she was there. It was wonderful getting to know my future mother-in-law better. I will treasure that time.

Shower

My 5 bridesmaids threw me a shower on June 3. They went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Everything was decorated in pink and brown and the tables had beautiful floral centerpieces. Kris and Sandy made the mini cakes, cookies and ice cream you see in the photos. It was so nice to relax with great friends and share stories and memories. I have the best friends in the world. I am so lucky.

Invites just arrived!

Our invitations just came in. I really do love them. I was a little nervous that they would have an error, but they came out perfectly. Here's a sneak peek.

Just because...

Randy often buys me flowers just because. I love opening the door and seeing him stand on my porch with a beautiful bouquet. Reason #457 I love him.

100 Days

In 100 days, we are getting married! Can't wait. It is going to be such a wonderful day.
We have chosen our invitations, and we will be ordering them this week.
Our next step is to make an appointment to take our engagement photos.
