Yep, I jinxed us. Shortly after I posted how we had had a healthy 2009, we were rushing Randy to the ER thinking that he experiencing symptoms of a heart attack. After tests, no heart attack, but he was diagnosed with having a stroke. Long story short and after several tests, he did not have a stroke, but a perimesencephalic bleed. He is still in the hospital and should be out soon. Thankfully, Randy's parents flew out from Idaho, and my parents have been around to help. I have also had many friends around to count on.
Oh, and speaking of my parents, on the way to the hospital to pick up John, my dad got into a fender bender. All on New Year's Eve. On the positive side, we were able to watch a beautiful fireworks show from my front lawn while the tow truck guy dropped off their car.
Keeping my fingers crossed that the rest of 2010 goes smoothly.

Oh my goodness! I hope that Randy recovers fully and quickly! Keep us all posted.
My heart was in my throat. Each sentence I read outloud to Dennis was with a OMG and finally, he's okay. So relieved for all of you. Tell Randy to stop that!
Steph & Randy, I hope that Randy is out of the hospital at this point and he is feeling better. Was so sorry to hear this.
