stART Groundhog's Day

Today we read the book, Groundhog Gets a Say by Pamela Curtis Swallow.
The girls made these groundhog faces from various size hearts.

For snack, I found an idea to mash graham crackers to look like
dirt and place on top of chocolate pudding and add a Teddy Graham
graham cracker sticking out to look like a groundhog. We didn't
have chocolate pudding, so I used yogurt instead. Close enough.

The girls also made a groundhog puppet.

Cole wanted to wear his bear jacket today
because he thought it made him look like
a groundhog. I have to say, he is the
cutest little groundhog I have ever seen.

Wow! That dessert looks yummy...
From the photo, Cole's eyes look like they are turning brown. Time will tell!
