Tot School-Leaves

We collected, observed and crafted with leaves this week. We didn't get through as many activities as I would have liked, but between working through our math, reading and handwriting books, and preparing for baby, we were very busy.

Celie filling a leaf dish full of plastic pumpkins.
She loves to fill up containers.

Hattie made a fairy out of a leaf.

One-to-one correspondence with numerals
written on paper leaves.

Measuring leaves with unifix cubes and estimating how many
pennies fit on a leaf.

Making leaf prints out of paint.

A few weeks ago we went to a pumpkin patch. This is the
fourth year in a row we've traveled down to Livermore to
go to Joan's Farm. The girls look forward to finding the
largest pumpkin and trying to carry it to the car.

We're looking forward to viewing the family photo next year at the Pumpkin Patch with the Fawcett Family of FIVE!
Got any left-over pumpkin? A slice of Pumpkin pie sounds mighty good about now!
