6 Months and First Trip to the ER

Six months has always been my favorite age. I love how alert they are and how close they are to sitting up and moving around, but not quite yet. Lots of changes and cuteness.
At 6 months,
He:
-has 1 tooth. Bottom right. He is gnawing on everything.
-is chewing on his toes. Love this!
-is making new sounds. I hear "d" and "t" often.
-tries to lift himself up when I hold his hands.
-still hates tummy time and will not lift his head up.
-sleeps from 6pm-630am with 3 (sometimes 4!!!) feedings.
-still fits into his 3-6 month clothing.
-looks when his name is called.
-grabs for the cat's tail.
-gave me a hug today. :)

This one went to the ER on Monday. First time I have had to take one of my children there and I never want to do that again. She had been sick for a few days (gross things coming out all parts of her body), but then she felt better on Monday. I was relieved. During snack, she started to scream, and when I looked over, blood was pouring out of her mouth and nose. Because she had been sick, I panicked, threw her and Cole into the car (Hattie was at school) and drove to the hospital (hitting every red light). The official diagnosis? A bloody nose. That's it. Nothing at all related to her illness. I just overreacted.

overeacting comes with the territory of being a parent. You did just fine, getting her checked was the right thing to do... mom. Love mom and dad

Such a handsome little guy! And so happy Celie was fine. Ask Randy about the time he had a nosebleed at Tahoe, if he remembers it.
Love, Grammy
